Beschreibung
Abstract: The names in the title refer to three important tools in Mathematical Analysis with particular applications to differential equations, both ordinary and partial. We will start by introducing those concepts at the most basic and intuitive aspects, following by presenting some of their precise and usual statements in the literature. Finally, we present and comment on recent and novel work obtained on superlinear elliptic partial differential equations where those tools played an important role.
