Beschreibung
Dem Arbeitsbereich Pädagogische Psychologie (Prof. Pablo Pirnay-Dummer) lädt Prof. Dr. Birgit Kopainsky (University of Bergen, Norwegen) als Gastreferentin für das Forschungskolloquium Pädagogische Psychologie ein. Sie spricht am 29. November zum Thema: "On participatory systems modeling to build adaptive capacity with resource users in developing countries".
Inhalte des Gastvortrags: Participatory modeling is a potentially high?impact approach for catalyzing fundamental sustainability transformations. In this presentation, I discuss how participatory modeling can be adapted to resource users at the community level with low formal educational background. I also test if participation in a participatory modeling exercise increases participants' agency in different sustainability contexts. Converging expectations suggest that participatory modeling could contribute to making collective solutions and institutionalized agreements more likely.
