Beschreibung
The two-hour information event will focus on the one hand on the DFG (German Research Foundation) funding line Heisenberg Programme and on the other hand on the EU funding line ERC Advanced Grants (AdG). The Heisenberg Programme offers researchers who are already eligible for a professorship the opportunity to prepare for a professorship and at the same time to further sharpen their outstanding research profile through their own projects. The ERC supports ground-breaking project ideas from outstanding scientists in all fields of research. The only evaluation criterion is the scientific excellence of the submitted research project and the applicant.
The main course topics include:
- Presentation of the DFG Heisenberg Programme and the ERC Advanced Grants
- Presentation on how to apply and the support options from division 6.1
