Beschreibung
Cardiovascular diseases are the major cause of death in industrial nations, especially in the elderly. Therefore, it is of scientific interest how aging and cardiovascular diseases are interconnected. Thus, it is important to understand the mechanisms of aging. The purpose of this meeting is to discuss aging as a modifiable risk factor for cardiovascular diseases and to promote greater communication among both senior and newcomer researchers in the field worldwide. The congress will be the 12th international meeting on aging combined with the 12th Cardiovascular Research Days. It will comprise invited talks and poster sessions.
