Beschreibung
Abstract: My group is interested in hormones with actions in the cardiovascular system, such as angiotensin and serotonin. However, the functions of these molecules extend far beyond cardiovascular regulation. We study their synthesis and their physiological and pathophysiological effects in the periphery and in the central nervous system with a main objective to exploit them as pharmacological targets and the talk will give an overview on the last 25 years of this research.
