Beschreibung
Contemporary algorithmic technologies, specifically AI and machine learning, are changing the political, economic, social, and cultural landscapes, reiterating old and introducing new power formations. This lecture will introduce some basic concepts that are important in understanding and analysing algorithmic technologies and their effects from a feminist perspective and will ask what feminist tools and methods can be useful in creating pathways towards more socially and environmentally sustainable technological futures.
