Beschreibung
The 2-hour information session provides an overview of the DFG (German Research Foundation) funding line Emmy Noether Programme as well as the ERC Starting (StG) and Consolidator Grants (CoG).
The Emmy Noether Programme offers young researchers the opportunity to work on their own research topic by leading an independent junior research group and to qualify for the post of professor at a university. The ERC supports ground-breaking project ideas from excellent scientists in all fields of research. Scientific excellence, both with regards to the research project idea and the researchers themselves, is the sole evaluation criterion for funding.
The main course topics include:
- Presentation of the DFG Emmy Noether Programme and the ERC StG and CoG
- Introduction of the funding conditions
