Beschreibung

The 2-hour information session provides an overview of the DFG's individual funding opportunities specifically for the early Postdoc phase, where the young Postdocs try to become independent from their PhD supervisor.

The funding conditions of the Walter Benjamin Program as well as the Research Grant with the module „Own position“ will be presented. Furthermore, you will also learn about the funding opportunities for young Postdocs within the EU framework programme Horizon Europe, namely the MSCA Postdoctoral Fellowships (Marie Sklodowska-Curie Actions) for research projects abroad.

The main course topics include:

• Presentation of different funding programmes of the DFG as well as of the MSCA Postdoctoral Fellowships of the EU
• Introduction of the funding conditions
