"The Determinants of Private Donations Using Different Marketing Techniques in Fundraising. Empirical Investigation of the Nonprofit Organizations of Syria Pre Civil War - Post Economic Transition. Status Quo, Findings, Guidelines & Proposals"
This research investigates the determinants of private donations in Syrian nonprofit organizations (NPOs), focusing on the effectiveness and efficiency of different marketing techniques used in fundraising. Specifically, it examines the role of direct marketing, brand marketing, and low-cost/unpaid marketing methods in enhancing donations. The study delves into the underlying factors influencing donations, beyond marketing, such as organizational size, management quality, and financial efficiency. By analyzing data from Syrian NPOs, the research aims to address key questions about the impact of marketing strategies on donations and whether the findings can be generalized to other countries. The research also tackles statistical challenges, including multi-collinearity, and provides practical guidelines for optimizing fundraising strategies. Ultimately, it seeks to extend the applicability of marketing models to developing countries, offering valuable insights for improving the fundraising efforts of NPOs globally.
